Billie Streufert is the director of the Career and Academic Success Center at the University of Sioux Falls* in South Dakota. Author of more than 200 online articles, her writings have been featured by USAToday College, the National Association of Colleges & Employers (NACE), the National Career Development Association (NCDA), and 605 Magazine. After she earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling and Student Personnel, she went on to earn distinction as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), Master Career Counselor (MCC), Board Certified Career Coach (BCCC) and Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW). Most recently, she was one of only eight career professionals across the nation who was selected for the prestigious leadership academy of the National Career Development Association. She believes that it is not only possible for work to be enjoyable, but essential. With more than ten years of experience in career and academic planning, she is passionate about helping young professionals discover their vocation and navigate their job search in a tumultuous labor market.
